At Beau's 3rd vet visit, he weighed in at nearly 15 pounds! Approximately 12 weeks old.  Poor wee doggie, his testicles have not descended.  His neutering is tentatively scheduled for December.  The vet says it could be more work than spaying since they will have to search for them.  Not only will the surgery be more invasive, it will mean more $$$ !!

 

I have also signed us up for puppy training classes.  Beau scares me at times when he goes crazy and bites, lunging at me.  I am working on not being afraid, not being angry and just standing firm.  He wants to play, but gee golly gosh!  I want to read.  I am spending a lot of time outdoors with him and Pug Buddy, and thus, less time for reading.  *sigh*

 

Beau is nearly as tall as Pug  Buddy, but Buddy still outweighs him by about 10 lbs.  Plus, Beau, being a puppy does silly stuff like running into the furniture when following Buddy in their playing.  I think Buddy deliberately walks right next to the coffee table to "brush off" Beau.

 

What will it be like when Beau is bigger than Buddy?  Will Buddy still be the boss of the dogs?  Bart, the cat, no longer plays with Beau.
