    Results of vet visit

Beau's was a scrape and the vet suggested I keep it clean and crust free.  She was going to give me a topical antibiotic that dogs would not lick off because it numbed their tongue.  Not Beau!  He kept a'lickin'!!

Maggie's EGC is back but in a different area.  It is in her hock.  Last time it was one of her paws and that cleared up.  I hope this time the treatment works too.   I knew that EGC is not completely cured but was hoping.

I took Bart in and he is OK but thin and smaller than normal kidneys so they ran some tests and I'll get the results on Saturday.

Thankfully, they didn't charge me an arm and a leg.  Only an arm Tongue out

    It's Vet visit time

In about 30 minutes I have to take Beau in for a check up.  This past weekend we noticed he had a patch on his leg that was missing fur.  No blood or anything... just a smooth bald spot.  Yesterday I noticed the spot had crusted.  I put neosporin on it which Beau promptly licked off!!  *sigh*

Then, our 14 year old cat, Maggie, has been having problems with her stool.  I thought it was because I changed her food so went back to the old stuff.  She is so thin...  reason why I changed food...  and her coat looks odd and the fur is flying off like nobody's business.  I brushed her three times and each time it was like I hadn't brushed her in ages!  the brush was that full of fur!!

I had better make appointments for her brother, Bart, who is also thinner but has no other visible problems.   Our Peaches, same age but different litter, is the one who used to be so skinny and no matter what kind of food I gave her she would throw it up about later.

I switched them all to Raw with added cat vitamins and Peaches thrived but Bart and Maggie began losing weight.  *sigh*

    Beau's latest

Beau, 7 months old now, has a new fascination.  It is gross but amusing to watch.  He squats to poop and then turns his head to see what is coming out his rear!!  This means he leaves a little trail of poo and yes, *yuck* he has to sample it. Sick
